Hello,
I was wondering about the planar focus for pvp (open and wf).
Which set of lessers should i get ?
Should I maximize valor or dps, or a good combination of them ?
Last but not least, the planar should be related to the pvp build that we play or not ?
Thank you

For me, I've gone with all of the valor essences. Both the Cleric and Mage essences to max valor. I lose a bit of valor due to using the 2piece HK gear and need to keep that number up so that works for me.

Admittedly I am no Mage, but personally I use my PvE DPS sigil for PvP. The essences for PvP are really crappy, and while I would like the extra Valor I don't feel the extra survivability makes up for the loss of stats. They really need to improve the essences for PvP given that they aren't good compared to the 50 sourcestone essences and we have moved far along since them

No offense intended, but if you aren't a mage, you really shouldn't comment. It's definitely not the same for a mage. Our armor is crap as is and any survivability cooldowns we might have either A) require us to use a handicapped spec damage-wise anyway or B) run into DR very quickly. We also have a lot of cast times for our heavy-hitting abilities, so we already sacrifice a bit of survivability in exchange for additional damage.
As a mage, stack Valor. Other classes can afford to get away with having at least 2 pc HK crystal bonus with minimal loss of survivability. We drop one of those pieces of valor gear and we get melted. Alternatively, if you do use a PvE sigil, be prepared to run away quickly and die more than other mages.
