New gear list

was checking out the new gear list. awesome work!

Just have 2 questions. whats the difference between (Main list) and (Main list (End/Focus) ) seems like one gives DPS value to Focus (Main list) and the other one does not - (Main list (End/Focus)- is this correct? also what does "end" represent Endurance or somthing else?

The main list is weighted on ire dps stats (int/wis/sp/sc) the second list is the same weights as the first but adds endurance and focus values (intended for forward-tier progression)

Very much WiP, though I should have all the relevant RT1 and RT2 items there now. As for expert and pre-expert Items, those will likely be relegated to the pre-cap only list, instead of cluttering up the main list.

Next focus is adding stuff you guys actually want to see up there, open to any and all ideas, though complexity will determine if/when/how long they'll take to implement

My current project is getting the sheet to auto-sort itself and add a form to enter new data for the release of ID.

Other future possibilities include actively calculated weights based on spec and gear.

Keep the requests/ ideas/ info coming!

Could the mouseover tooltips be copied across from the old sheet please? Knowing which boss, drop rate %'s, proc information etc is all extremely useful.

Also could you copy across the Essence information? I know most people already have theirs sorted, but I like to refer to it now and again it'd be nicer to have just one spreadsheet rather than breaking out the old one every time I want to check something?

Yes the Essence information would be awesome now that the gear list includes DPS value for those over the crit cap. I will be looking into which lessers i can swap out to drop the Crit down more while picking up more SP.

You can look at the old list at the moment and just check the total SP column. Fortunately all six essences that are BiS once you are crit capped are on the vendors, so no farming Raid Rifts, and four or more of them you will likely have already if you have BiS ignoring crit cap.

Thanks! I used the old sheet a decent amount, and spent a lot of time on PTS, this started as just a personal sheet to see all the HK stuff that changed

Shouldn't be donors only, go to home > Mage > gear lists and it should be there.

Should have a large update rolled out by Friday. With the amount of traffic the sheet now gets editing directly in google docs is tedious at best, so lagged it's unusable at worst. Because of that I have started editing in excel and then will be copying the results to the sheet in batch updates. So if you don't see updates for a week or so, don't panic! ( being a semester from college graduation gunning for a master's program slot doesn't help my free time either ;) )

Is this still being updated? While the list appears to include some ID gear, seems to be fairly sparse and the document itself suggests that it is only up to date for patch 1.7?

some new gear is in it (mostly relics) but by far not all.

Thank you very much. I thought Revel was updating the list or is Atavus also Revel? I am not hip on exactly who the big wig mages are.

I don't know that anyone is maintaining this anymore, so I have updated the list with the new PvP gear, and if people want to post new PF/ID items (pref screenshots) I will add them to the list and keep it updated.

Er not sure if you realise Calmethar but that is not a mage item :p I've added and updated a couple items, keeping an eye on Xanadu for more. Might have to harass some people in the more progressive guilds to share some screenies. There's a really nice blog with loads from PF, but its all PTS screenies, and I hate to use non-live sources.
