Becoming a Bluedots Author is a relatively simple process and there are two ways to do it.
The First Way:
Make a new thread in this forum that is a guide, interesting article, theorycraft, or video the are relevant to the game.
If the community enjoys the thread it will be promoted to an article and go on the front page under your name.
The Second Way
Create a blog http://bluedots.org/beta/blog.php and begin posting to it. If the community likes it you'll be promoted.
After your first article is promoted you'll become a Bluedots Author and be able to produce new articles whenever you like. However, these articles will be strictly monitored, and they will have delayed publishing of 2 - 48 hours. You will also participate in this monitoring process by reading other Author's articles before they are published.
- You must be the original author or creator of the content.
- The work must be original.
- It cannot be published in any other public place (This does not include private guild forums).
As a Bluedots Author you will have an Ad slot at the top of the article that you will receive 100% of the revenue from. There will be some default options, but you will also have the ability to put whatever Ad you want there as long as it is appropriate, and doesn't sell or advertise anything illegal. You can also promote your favorite charity and personal blog or website.
Important: If you want to generate revenue you will be required to sign up for 1 or more Ad networks (Such as Google Adsense). This website will never have access any of your revenue data, or personal and tax information.
Also note that I reserve the right to remove any article, thread, or ad at my discretion.
