1.8 warlock build

Has anyone else tried this build? I tested it out and was out doing the 36/30 build, not by much but by like 75 or so. Was using warlock crystal with 5hk pieces and a few rank 40 pvp pieces. Was only using self buffs and power stone.

What was your rotation? I tried something similar and it was 500-600 behind 36/30

I will retest it tonight maybe i goofed something up. Did you test after the 3/16 changes? was sitting around 1900sp. At first i was behind because i was casting defile after the other dots. With the 4 piece hk crystal you want to cast defile then your other dots. i found it better to let the dots drop off than to cast your dots early.

* Defile: Fixed Defile continuing to consume Charge if it was cleansed from the target.
* Empowered Darkness: Now costs 75 Charge to cast, but no longer consumes Charge or blocks Charge gain while active. Reduced the damage bonus for the Warlock to 70% while Empowered Darkness is active. 15 second maximum duration.
* Life Leech: Reduced base duration to 10 seconds. Spending points in Improved Life Leech now increases the duration of Life Leech by 2-6 seconds, increases its base damage by 20-60%, increases the benefit to Life Leech from Spell Power by 20-60%, and increases the amount healed by 10-30%.
* Sacrifice Life: Damage: Reduced cooldown to 30 seconds and increased the damage bonus granted to 20%.

just check neddra grasp does not affect void decimation so is a dps lose. I have 1791sp and 1016crit was doing around 2250 with only solo buffs and power stone. was doing around 2200 with 36/30 but maybe i am doing something wrong with the 36/30

also just tested out and items like uncorrupted ancient life wand and lost favor do proc off of life leech

Hm, yea, you should be doing at least around ~2500-2600 with 36/30, so something's wrong.

i will do that with full raid buffs but solo no where close i got to do some research
