New Mage Trinkets from ID

Pretty much the same as AMOP, 155 SP with 80% assumed uptime ~ 62dps (please correct me if my math is fail, I am assuming that 1 SP is roughly 0.5 DPS).



A quick test on the dummies using ACT showed that in a 7m20s fight (440s) the trinket did 31,955 damage from 32 procs giving it an average of 72.63 DPS, plus ~5dps more from the 10SP if you have the relic weapon to go with it.

With full raid buffs 1 Sp starts to approach 1 Dps, definitely at least 0.8, depending on spec and player skill of course.

I'd expect the Greed of Burburov to be a WiP given it's almost identical to AMoP.
~70 dps on the Crown of Molten Gold isn't terrible, but it isn't mindblowing either.

Burburov's proc rate is higher than amop (roughly 20% higher proc chance from napkin math and some PTS hours)

the 5sp is meh, but the extra proc chance makes it more effective for 1.5sec gcd casters, while I guess its meh for most mages; clerics and warlocks rejoice.

Have to burst your bubble, but from ALL the "chance to proc extra dmg on atk" items I've played with. When it comes to AOE they all only proc on 1 mob. would be awesome if the proc did extra dmg on all mobs effected by your aoe.
