Hi, nice look to new site, is there a reason the 35/31 sc/pyro build is not available to view?, it just shows a message this build is set to private.

works here as well..
Dont forget your self buffs are Glyphs of Power + Fire Armor + Flaring Intellect
and if two mages running this are in same raid .. place in seperate groups to make most of Static Discharge when burst is needed
Nice write up tho
Nice guide, spec page now working.
Looks good to me. Also I promoted it to an article
It would be nice to show the alternate builds too:
You can have heatwave or lightningstorm, or both or none.
Reason is you have the 'Fiery Resolve' and the 'Fiery concentration' to play around with.
Yes you can min/max a build, but you gotta check also where you would use it.So where:
Silas (no silences, or pushback in this fight, you could switch points to heatwave)
Matron (no silence, but there is pushback, you could maximize points there and go or not go for heatwave)
Akylios (Silence and pushback, no need for the manaconsuming lightingstorm here, maybe heatwave for some burst, but debatable as well)
My goal is not to start a debate, because on forums.riftgame.com are TONS of discussions about this. Just to give some information that you can be flexible with this build depending on the fight![]()
Yes, there should always be room for flexibility. However you need the points in Fiery Resolve and Concentration to get further up the tree, so what you're suggesting can't be done.
Also, Lightning Storm is a very nice Electrified builder hitting up to 10 targets, so as soon as there's 5 or more targets it's better than using Forked Lightning.
Furthermore Heat Wave isn't really worth it in most cases, as you're using the SC synergy crystal anyway, and HW ruins all the mobility of the ST rotation by having to stand still spamming Fireballs. So generally I wouldn't go for that point in HW. Taking it would also cost a point in Burning Bright.
