So it gets announced officaly today, but through a few Media pices it sure looks like its going to be a melee or tank soul (I hope its not a tank soul) The 2H blade weapons from the e-mail and RIFT Storm Legion Dev Diary at 1:36 sorta make it a no brainer but wondering what the rest of the community thinks. Also there hasn't been any talk in the Mage area for a while

melee mage, I knew it ! Hope we get more roles in the 10 new lvls (then again I play a caster cause I don't like to melee...and I play a healer... bah, guess I along with everyone else will give it a whirl )
